The solubility of Caprolactam was evaluated in scCO 2 at a range of

pressures and temperatures. Table 3 shows the results:

It is clear that at lower pressures the solubility improved with temperature decrease, while the effect was reversed under higher pressures. This is related to the density of scCO 2, and the vapour pressure of solute. This will be further discussed in the following sections.
